What is GEO?
GEO stands for generative engine optimisation. It's the work that helps AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews understand your business and cite it when people ask about what you sell. SEO gets you into the list of links; GEO gets you named in the answer above it.
Does GEO replace SEO?
No. AI tools draw on pages that already rank and load well, so a solid SEO foundation comes first. We build both at the same time, on the same pages.
Which AI tools do you optimise for?
ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and DeepSeek. The groundwork is the same for all of them: clear facts about your business, structured data, pages that answer real questions, and mentions on other trusted sites.
How long before I see results?
Technical fixes usually show up in Search Console within weeks. Rankings and AI mentions build over months. Tech Aluminum had a steady flow of leads within two months of its rebuild, and China Fulfillment went from 7,300 to over 28,000 visits a month in five.
Is SEO and GEO included in the website packages?
Yes. Every Website, Brand + Launch and Bespoke build launches with the technical SEO, structured data, Search Console setup and GEO groundwork in place. Monthly work, such as new content, links and reporting, is the Grow plan.
Can you do SEO on my current website?
Not on its own. SEO and GEO depend on how a site is built: its speed, its structure and its code. Patching an old site rarely moves the numbers, so we rebuild it with the optimisation built in, then grow it month by month. The free check shows you what's holding your current site back.
Can you do SEO in Chinese and other languages?
Yes. We build and optimise sites in English, Chinese and other languages, with the hreflang setup search engines need to show the right version in each market. Tech Aluminum's multi-language rebuild is one example.
Do you need access to our website?
Not for the free check; we work from your live site and public tools. For the build we need access to wherever your domain is registered, and to your Google Business Profile if you have one.
