Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Eastlink Media ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data you send us through this website. We help companies win and keep customers abroad: brand positioning, websites with SEO and generative engine optimisation (GEO), LinkedIn and digital outreach, trade show strategy and follow-up, and cross-cultural sales training. We also design logos, make launch videos and supply branded merchandise. Eastlink Media operates from Ireland and the United States.

2. What data we collect and why
We only collect personal data that you give us through the contact form on this website.

We don't collect sensitive personal data, payment card data, or data about children.
3. How we use your data
We use the data you send us only to:
- Reply to your enquiry, including your free growth review
- Discuss and carry out any work you then ask us to do
- Keep a record of our business correspondence
We don't use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we don't send you marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them.
4. Who we share your data with
We share your data only with these companies, and only so we can run the website and reply to you:

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for up to 2 years from the date we receive it. We delete it sooner if you ask us to (see section 7), or once we no longer need it for the reason you sent it.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website doesn't set any cookies, and we don't use tracking or advertising tools.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting, and it doesn't follow you across other websites.
If you change the currency on our prices, your browser's local storage remembers your choice for your next visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
The analytics script loads from Cloudflare. Everything else, including fonts, images and videos, loads from our own domain. Apart from Cloudflare, which hosts the website and runs the analytics (see section 4), no other company receives your IP address when you visit.
7. Your rights under the GDPR
You have these rights over the personal data we hold about you:
- Access: ask for a copy of your data (Article 15)
- Rectification: ask us to correct it (Article 16)
- Erasure: ask us to delete it (Article 17)
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use it (Article 18)
- Portability: receive it in a portable format (Article 20)
- Objection: object to our use of it on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 21)

8. Right to complain
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's data protection authority, at dataprotection.ie.
If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country. In the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you complain.
9. If you're in the United States
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. Depending on the state you live in, including California under the CCPA, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. To make a request, email hello@eastlinkmedia.com. We'll reply within 45 days.
10. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. This website is served only over HTTPS. Contact form submissions travel securely to our email provider (Resend) and aren't stored on our web server.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
